I just wanted to share this video of iRay integration within Substance Designer (5.3). If you're familiar with gpu ray tracers, you know they bring a lot to the table and they're fantastic for people who work on film, commercials, arch viz etc. I tend to use a lot of texturing packages, but there is still a huge difference between a marmoset toolbag type preview and a path tracer viewport. So for those people who are into renderers like Octane, this seems to be the first step in that direction. What are the advantages of a path tracer? If you've worked with various renderers vs game engines, you already know the major differences. It's mostly about realistic reflections, shadows, and bounced light. The better the preview, the more time it saves you later on. Also great for stills
