  1. Hi people, I'm having some difficulty with brush response time here. hope could find some clue. when the voxels are at lower density, all brushes give real time feedback, but when resolution goes higher, large size brush takes considerable amount of time to respond. This is understandable, more vertices are being changed. However, just curious, I compared 3d coat(3.7) with Zbrush(4r2) on the same PC, with a simple sphere at roughly same 3M res, with a huge brush size the same as the radius of the sphere, Zbrush has way much faster response with the strokes(takes about 0.3 seconds for every standard brush to refresh), while in 3d coat, the volume mode sphere takes about 5 seconds to respond with the default Grow brush, and if under surface mode, the Rapid brush with such radius simply freezes the program for more than 20 seconds... I understand the importance of building the volume from low res and this is just an extreme example, but I do hope I can find some brush speed improvement... the proxy mode is handy, but with high res mesh, it takes time to switch on and off as well... any other settings I could change to make the brush respond quicker? thanks a lot
