Member Walou Posted August 12, 2014 Member Report Share Posted August 12, 2014 Hi everyone, i havent introduced myself yet but i'll get to it shortly. So 3D coat is amazing, it was really easy to learn and use, to be honest im suprised its not more popular, but here comes something that got me. In the retopology room when i try to create polygons with any tool on an object i imported while i enabled symmetry on Z the mirrored normals become flipped. (this doesnt happen when i use X or Y symmetry) (and even after aplying the symmetry) And that's it, i found no way to flip normals in 3Dcoat and i don't think there is, so i'm stuck. I thank you in advance for your help.
Member Walou Posted August 13, 2014 Author Member Report Share Posted August 13, 2014 figured doing symmetry on Z wasnt a good thing, because this is the direction models should face when imported. Did the retopo symmetry on X and now all works fine.
