Yes, that's the problem. If i need to fix sculpted model 3dcoat cannot import it freely without other app for re export, and even can't to "separate parts", it's just eats all my ram and crash. For example in nomad sculpt it import original stl and separate parts in two seconds. Maybe devs can fix this issue in future updates

I imported it into Blender and saved it as a binary STL file (not ASCII). It opened in the modeling room without any problems. and from Retopo/Modeling to Surface Sculpt   The model has only one side with no background in some parts, which could cause problems. Bear.rar

There are a few Sculpting updates. One is the Lofted Surface with "On Plane" control and implementation with the Smart Hybrid toolset. There is also a major new improvement to the Pose tool, regarding the Freeform Deformation Lattice. You can now set your own number of control points up to 16 and it has a new CONFORM option that will snap the object to a nearby surface and conform it's shape to that surface. There were some complaints/reports about the FFD lattice's behavior, and that too was fixed. Plus, the changes made to nodes for Per Pixel Painting are also applied to Sculpting Nodes. There is also a new Primitive type that is a Hollow Box/Cube, with options to make it open on all sides, a few or just one.  

i see some ui/ux will be getting updates , will you be changing the workflow in 3dcoat? also i know me asking is getting tiring , but will sculpting see any improvements?  

Definitely "smoother" curve/better blending of the segments - when trying to build anything more complexe than simple wrap around the object, it can deform badly(weird bumps, spikes, twists, etc. Another thing(maybe fixed already?) - the curve is twisting around the axis while you are building it, really easy to observe when you use your own profiles like snake body, where you have different texture on top and bottom of the curve model(don't know if I have explained this clear enough?).  Performance could be better, because it's a bit sluggish even with lower poly profiles, so the editing of the curve becomes annoying as hell.

You can replace the startup image with your own custom graphic.  Place a 960x540 JPG file named Background##.jpg into your C:\Users\<username>\Documents\3DCoat2026\data\Splash folder.

Can't wait to test this. Curves tool is one the essential tools, but it needs polishing.

It is possible, but you need to choose new images to put there. And ask the author for permission

Is that implemented in newest beta releases or in upcoming releases? Also, is it still picking points that are on the back of the object you are trying to wrap the curve around?
