Unfortunately, that's set up too.
The only other issue I see is that I upgraded from Textura to 3DCoat. I uninstalled Textura, but maybe it's just stuck on that and I need to use a special uninstaller to remove everything from the registry and do re installation of Blender and 3DCoat? Would that make a difference?
I think this software that uses a layer system would definetly greatly benefit from adding to the users the option to sell usable content either for money or free which in my opinion benefits everyone since 3DCoat being the host can have a cut of the pie to support the platform. VDMs are also something most beginners could struggle with. Allowing this would also allow those beginners to get a nice boost for their creation process so that they can get into the game more quickly.
Maybe even adding 3D model templates so people have a much better starting point to build on. Or maybe even som kitbash objects to add in like fences and what not.
This could overcomplicated license issues but I doubt adding something as simple as materials or VDMs would have any big consequences. People already do this on other platforms.
The marketplace should also have a more friendly UI, there should be a large preview image when scrolling to find content as well as a clear price listing. Something like what is present in the Unity Asset store. It should have its own rating system too, and it should be directly connected to the PC program.
We already have a "marketplace" forum section but it should not really be a forum but rather its own type of thing.
@Carlosan.Thanks for your response and I apologize for incorrectly saying it was 'ignored'.
I'm also using the latest version (2024.31). I see your Export presets section has less options than mine.
Your Textures list is pretty different too >>
Specifically I have Emissive (with color) and Emissive Power (mono) as options.
Now, I suppose I could put the Emissive Power (mono) in the in the alpha of my diffuse texture. Is that what you would do?
I was looking for a texture map like a diffuse map, but with emissive colours only and a black background...
The setting: Textures/Export/Metalness Map 'Store Gloss/Roughnesss in Metalness Alpha' WAS checked in my 3D-Coat.
After I unchecked that I was able to export the single map as I was anticipating. Intensity to be set elsewhere rather than a greyscale map I think.
Actually, maybe I will export the Emissive Power too. Where can I adjust the intensity of the emissive parts in 3D-Coat.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks Oleg. I have the same setup as you do. I'm using macOS 15.1.1 and 3DCoat 2024.31 (also test on 2024.17)
I'll make up a screengrab like yours Monday or sooner.

It is not a know problem and it is not ignored.
Exporting emissive have 2 options
Export Emissive: Export emissive intensity as alpha channel of the texture. Usual color will be stored in color channel.
Export Emissive Intensity: Export emissive intensity as greyscale texture.
Using latest version is working as expected
- Also remember to check this settings (all options turned off):
I have a layer with white colour channel and it's blending mode is 'Use as Emissive'. When I export the textures, the emissive texture map is pure black.
I've watched the 'Specular Color & Emissive Maps' tutorial above but it's not helping.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks, Shift Studio.
