Here is again a demonstration of my problem with painting sculpts. I have used voxel and surface painting extensively in production before. I never had this kind of trouble.

I am a bit in despair, because I started to rely on 3D Coat for doing some basic high poly painting during sculpting. Now I can not do that anymore because Flat Shade seems broken for me. I can not recall it simply turning black and having this weird outlines.
It is important for me to be able to see raw color when working. I wonder what could be the problem.

Hello, I just downloaded the demo and I'm trying to set up export from blender to 3dcoat on my mac. Currently running blender 4.5 and the latest version of OSX, and I'm getting Permission Error: [errno 13] permission denied. I tried to troubleshoot it myself including running chmod +x to give the necessary permissions, but that didn't work at all, and I'm fairly lost at this point.
vox tools has an issue , it doesnt respect ignoring back faces so if you smooth while using a any vox tool it just absolutely destroys the mesh,
flatten or scrape , there isnt a good flatten tool for 3dcoat , you can never get a good result using them
pose tool , smoothing doesnt work as fast or well as it could , can there be a better smoothing or faster smoothing so that using a pose tool does create sharp edges when distorting it
plus anything above 2 million polys is becoming a massive performance issue
For anyone else looking for this, the "Auto Pick" checkbox in the top-center of the viewport, to the right of the File, Edit, View, Etc... menus (3DC 2025).

For got to said... 3DC don't create the circle shape from center but scaled from side, it is very inconvenient.
I'm in the process of relearning 3D Coat and it's new functionality.
Select path is a problem for me; If I try to make a closed loop on a surface like the cube in the video it refuses to close no matter what I do. Go to the video at 3:24 or so...that's where the difficulties begin for me.
Secondly once I've made a Select Path and used that for some transformation I can't delete all that path's artifacts no matter what I try (and Grok has made a lot of suggestions which don't work at all). Is this a bug or am I just badword?
Thirdly, Select Path doesn't have a popup tool box that doesn't appear when you select it so there's no convenient clear old path button in that.

Question: Why can't I Live Smooth single sided geo, but can Smooth(CC) it? Should this not theoretically be the same?
