Hey 3D Coat friends, I created a node material that I use for 3D printing and I just upgraded my 3D Coat to the latest version and I that materials don't work any more. I looked and there seems to be a rewrite of how nodes work and am wondering how I can use my old material. I don't seem to have the same access to nodes in the new node editor.  Any help directing where to look next to figure this out would be greatly appreciated.  https://imgur.com/a/7mvF66l 

Hi! This is a trick that used to work on older version of 3DC. Where you could paint complex and precise falloffs and shapes with the layers then right click Freeze painted Pixels" while in Voxel mode. In the recent stable update it doesn't seem to be a thing anymore. The Mask never gets generated. Can this please be fixed?

Does it happen on very simple models? Like default sphere. Does switching between tools/rooms lag?

Hello, I suggest you support the "pan" and "pinch" gestures, similar to Blender. They are useful for orbiting and zooming in / out with trackpads and drawing tablets that supports gestures. Video:   

yeah that solved it. I had to go into the paint room, select 'show voxels' as above and then the paint layer could be hidden or deleted and you'd see the effect of it in the sculpt room. Thanks!

You need to activate "View > Show Voxels on Paint room"

That's still the paint room's palette, it's just in the sculpt room. Here, I'll prove it. Notice how broken the paint is - the disappear and re-appear (on top of the voxel sculpt disappearing and re-appearing when I select paint tools):

Thanks @Carlosan Where can I download it? I only find the option to download the full install, under Account->licenses on the website. There is a file called license.dat in the 3DcoatV49 folder. Maybe I should copy the license.dat from my work PC (the one that does not show the warning message) to the home PC?

Try dowloading the .license and install it manually

Hello, I have been using 3dCoat for years and I always have had it installed on two PCs (one for when I work at home, and one for when I work at the office). Both installs are for my own use, so I never use them simultaneously. If I understand correctly that is fine with the license I own (3dCoat V4 professional permanent license). But one of the PCs where I had 3dCoat installed just "died", and so I reinstalled 3dCoat V4.9 on an old PC, to use it at home. And now, when I open 3dCoat on that old PC, it shows the message “Warning. Your serial number is being used on another PC. You should exit immediately”.  I had never seen this message before. Help to fix this would be very appreciated, as I can now only use 3dCoat on my work PC . Thank you!
