Currently I am thinking about purchasing 3D Coat. One of the reasons, why I am still thinking about it is this text from the webpage:
So, my question about this would be: What happens, if my workstation is not connected to the internet? Will 3D Coat refuse to work?
I understand, that Pilgway tries to protect their hard work and wants to prevent customers from abusing serial numbers, but I think, that in this case it will result in negative effects in the end, because it has some sort of spyware feeling to it and it's a signal to your loyal customers, that you don't trust them. And this creates negative feelings and bad vibrations, which is not good for a small and young company that works hard on improving market share. As christians you trust in god, you should also trust your customers.
A one-time online activation is one thing, but checking license over and over again, with the option to deactivate the software remotely, is another thing and I think, that this "feature" should be removed in future versions.
Thank you for reading.
