Yeah this is a important question..! But! This guy and next one just a sculpts for now... M.b. in future they are will be a much more but for now just a random sculpting for fun and imagination relaxing=)

Yey! Thx! But its just a WIP started today (about 20-25 mins of work, just in clay stage without details)
And yeah ID4 one of the my fav movies! And I like this alien type - not height, big head, hight agility e. t. c. War of the worlds aliens rocks too=)
Neat, inspired by Stargate I guess?heh no=)) It's for another one project=) This guy must be a protagonist! Hope I will finish him in next bunch of days (Hell damn my main work)
And inspired mmmm closer to ID4 and War-Of-the-Worlds... And Old-school Aliens in modern culture

Ptex - ого-го, это та самая Диснеевская фича с по-фейсовой развертки ув на плоскости, если да то это очень хорошая новость!
Спасибо большое за помощь с СЛ, сейчас гляну 3.2! Буду ждать новостей по поводу дальшейшего развития СЛ в коате и фиксов.

Приветствую!
Снова затрону тему СЛ-скульптов. Право устала от сильных артефактов. При генерации сферы из скульпт-мапы (СМ) появляются странные артефакты. Причем, при генерации самой сферы в коате не из СМ всё отлично. Поэтому чтобы получить результат приходиться - генерировать чистую сферу, сохранять в .обж, кидать в синему, там преобразовывать, сохранять в .обж, загружать в коат, сохранять в СЛ-СМ. Причина этих артефактов мне не ясна, но они напрочь мешают текстурить и снимать оключен, нормал\дисплейс... и т.д.
Очень надеюсь, что этот вопрос разрешиться, так как не хочется использовать любимый коат, сугубо как генератор сорс-сферы.

Thx! Yeah me 2=)) Thats will be fun=) They work like that - it ionise stream in air with UV laser and than provide hight voltage arc in it.
Ang thx a lot for advice about surf-mode-) but i already use it for hight details and good lossless smoothing.
New render=) And how to keep it in hands. The upper corner for left hand and horizontal bone in backside for right hand

I have some interest stuff with "cell-b and solid geometry modeling" materials by one japan 3d arch engeneer.

Some cell-based vox experiments
I want to show u 1 experement with cell-b algorythm. This method a very good to make ur work more faster and more interesting.
I created my pistol vox base from 3 images what i made from vectors in CorelDraw.

After u must export this planes into pixel dimension, like a .bmp, .png or another one.
And if u want to make final vox more smoother u can use some edge/gaussian blur in PShop (About 2 - 4pixels).
p.s.: u can make scetch images directly in PShop, if u want. I use corel, cause i find it better to make cool quality reference from base image.

Wow! Awesome work, looks very realistic! So Interesting to see a Dante alive again!
And u may use new rasp-tool with couple of masks for sharp transitions or hard edges. But sometimes its hard to control in first time=)
