Hi there,
well I experience similar behaviour with the speed - but maybe that's because of the graphics card - which is fairly old (got the same one).
Btw. impressive config.

is it possible to make the app not that much cpu intense? always when I start 3dcoat, didn't even do something, the fan goes up

I have an other question according to C++...
because Apple plans to remove Carbon completely from MacOS X SnowLeopard, does this means that 3D-Coat will not work then?
I'm not so familiar with C++, sorry for my lack of knowledge...

Hi,
there is a little error in the starting date. The newsletter, the contest site ( http://3dcoat.com/community/contest/ ) and this thread title are saying that it's starting on the 10th May and ending 10th July, but in your terms text it says "May 15- July 15".
Maybe you should correct that
