thank you for replying. I downloaded and installed the BF development toolkit in the option I see is installed 3d max which I don't think? I need to install it since I have 3d coat. gmax is this a free sodtware.

I am really new at this and I want to add vehicles, buildings and much more. To a mod from "battlefield 1942", well first thing I need to know is it possible with this program 3D coat?
