I'm also thinking, you can achieve this workflow by using strokes. With a view benefits compared to "painting". You can edit the strokes after you layed them down...they behave like splines. Very comfortable in my opinion...

I checked out CPU usage while working in 3D Coat. There is around 50% CPU usage while I'm hovering (not painting) over surface with a brush. Is this a normal behaviour?

My System:

Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz @ 3.2 GHz

GeForce 8800GTS

8GB RAM

WIN XP 64

CUDA enabled

Andrew, pose tool with selection is great!. But crush almost every time i use it.

Same for me under WIN XP SP3

Open GL Version crashes on opening in my Win XP 64...bug report was sent.

I'm also a little bit confused about the inverted Zoom but it sounds you will fix this...
