  1. oh..if you rightclick in the volumes window on a volume you can select quadrangulate....export this mesh as an obj or stl. tsplines is a plug-in for rhino or maya..it let's you convert the imported mesh into a tspline and then into a nurbs surface (with patches) a nice alternative to hilariously expensive programs like goemagic or polyworks
  2. and imported into solidworks, shelled (wall thickness) and groove added
  3. i just upgraded to V3 and i'm so amazed by the voxel sculpting! great job! also the quadrangulate fuction in combination with tsplines is a nice way getting clean nurbs surfaces from our 3d laserscans (poly) i won't touch silo, mudbox or zbrush again i bow humbly
