  1. I finished a sculpt session in Voxels room and would like to export a displacement map: I cant find any image format in File|Export command. How do i export it?
  2. (02) I cant find Material Editor in Paint room: am i missing to do something?
  3. Abnranger and alvordr: thank you very much. I could now to have an 3ds overview. I found another video very useful to newbies like me:
  4. Not sure this is the correct place to post, either if you dont worry about put all my initial questions about 3dcoat, since this is the first time i opened it. (01) When i start it, 3dc asks me how i want to begin work, i pick an sphere in Voxel sculpting. Ok, i am in Voxels "room": why there isnt any object in Tweak one? (please dont laugh of me)
  5. Thanks, Javis: i'll try it. I am beginning with 3dcoat and i am just a little afraid about artifacts in 3dsmax rendered image, after apply a material with a displacement map exported from 3dcoat. Before anything, i'll make this kind of tests and post the results and (if there are) problems here. Thanks for you attention.
  6. Hi! Newbie here. Before anything i would like to know if the general workflow i have in mind is corret: (a) import a low resolution model ( subdivide it and begin to sculpt © at the end, i have to export a displacement map (with the sculpt work) (d) in another software (in my case, 3dsmax) i import the (a) model and apply a material to it: in this material i have to put my displacement map. (e) after render the model, all my 3d-coat sculpt transformations will appear. In a general way, this is the workflow? Anyway, i would like to know if there is some instructions about how to export the displacement map? Or if someone could give me an idea about how to perform this. Thanks in advance.
  7. <<it works usually, but sometimes it becomes black?>> Yes <<Does it becomes black during edit, or after loading, or after first loading?>> Just after first loading. <<How muth times it was occured?>> Rarely <<How mutch video memory do you have?>> 128Mb <<what app-s where run before 3d-brush?>> Just Wings3D. And, at another time, none app: just 3d-brush... << Soon I will upload the less bugful version >> Great
  8. The problem occured again. Take a look at the pic. Since i closed the app and open it again, shaded view worked again... Ah, take a look at the white that follows the cursor (indicated at the pic by an arrow) during painting action in this state (black appearance geometry).
  9. <<So try to run wings, then 3d-brush>> It solved the problem. Thanks.
  10. AndrewShpagin: is there a way to change the shaded mode at 3DBrush? I am asking because i experimented a moment at when evey geometry became enterely black (i dont know if i pressed some key...)
  11. I've installed 3dBrush at my Pentium IV 1.8 Mz, 512 RAM, GeForceFX 5200. It is running ok here, but i've noticed a first problem: if i open Wings3D when 3DBrush is already openning, it turns very "slow" to work at Wings, there is a general delay at Wings3D viewport, that becomes very hard to manipulate... Even if i close 3DBrush, the problems persists till i close Wings and open it again (but if i open Wings after this, the problem appears again...). How does 3DBrush demand Video board???
