  1. Where to see texture's size? And how to change it?
  2. yes just compare how it looks when I import it in 3D coat, but not voxilizing yet - first Image and how it looks after voxelizing - image 2 or 3 (different amount polygons, but in modeling software in both cases they are perfectly smooth). On first screen it is perfectly smooth. In my software where I modeled it, it is too perfectly smooth. When I import it in Cinema 4d it is also perfectly smooth.
  3. Tony Nemo, my models have different UV because have different topology. What I have to do in this case?. It's hard surface. Abn Ranger I need. High Poly 1. Import High poly 2. Make UVs 3. Paint - color, normals, specular. Low Poly 1. Import Low poly 2. Make UVs 3. Somehow use maps I created for high poly. But the things is that models have different topology and different UVs. So I need to make some kind of merge to create normal map and also somehow get normal map form High res.
  4. Journeyman, There are a lot of videos here have no time to look them all to find answer. My question is simple what siquence of action I have to make. For example. 1. Import highpoly model for PP 2. make maps, 3. Import lowpoly merege for PP 4. export I have no experience with 3D coat, so I need this little help, cause I do not know nuances to make what I described. I need 2 models finished High and Low res. And to not make 2 times all maps for both models.. In general I think it have to be some kind of making maps for high res, than bake them all to low res..
  5. Good but why I get this strange shading looks like broken normal map... Before import After or this: And is it any way to select parts on witch I want to sculpt in the viewport?
  6. And another question, I have model It's battle tank I want to import it in 3D coat to add some cracks and deformation on it with sculpting tools. is any special workflow for this?
  7. But how to work with surfaces without subdividing? I see live clay is it replacement in this case?
  8. Thanx, understood, but is any analog of increas/decreas subdivision level for surface objects?
  9. Hay people, I need to make 2 models, 1. - High poly model with color specular and normal. 2. - The same model but low poly, with same maps. I have: High poly and Low poly models in .obj My client want to have 2 finished models. What will be the right workflow?

  12. I don not remeber what import function I use but it make this: Import high poly, autoretop it to low poly, creates UV and maps. What it might be?
  13. Tell me pleas what I'm doing wrong. First image is preview in 3D coat, second render in C4d. As you can see there are artifacts in C4D, normal maps are imported in C4D. What I'm doin wrong?

  17. Hallo everybody, I'm new to 3D coat so have two questions.. 1. Is it possible to arrange a couple of UV on the same texture? Another words, I have to make one texture for all objects. I have a lot of objects and their UV must be arranged on one texture file. How it can be done in 3D Coat? 2. How to project normal maps and other maps from High poly model to low poly model inside 3D coat?
