  1. Ok thx. I'll try that for the work I already did. The next time I will make a single face that takes up the entire texture image and keep it off to the side. I'll just delete it when I got the finished thing out from 3DC. Not sure if this will be better but I'll try both and see. Thanks again.
  2. Hi, have a texture for a modular part to a building I brought in for paint. The texture is shared with other parts so not all of the texture is used for this particular object. You know, how they do in modular level design for game engines? Anyway, I hope there is a workaround to the issue I've found in 3DC. After I painted and exported I noticed all the other area that is outside the uv spaces has been written over with solid black. So, example a solid wall object/part would only use the texture for brick and not a door texture that is off to the side. Another object/part would use the door texture if need be. All the parts will use the same single texture. Problem is the door is gone for the solid black. Now I would need a texture for every single modular part rather than them all sharing the one. Kinda the point. Anyone know why this is happening or if there is a workaround? Thanks
  3. Hi, noob here I changed to all the layer types so that I could try and make the color the same every time, even if I overlap another painted stroke and didn't find the right layer or did something wrong. As you can see in the center of the two overlapping strokes, the darker middle is what I want to avoid. I'm sure it's a simple thing but cant find it for some reason. Thanks for the help. Just trying to learn the program. Also, is there a lazy mouse feature? That would be the best thing ever.
