  1. Hi, Please check and confirm if you get the same problem: http://3dcoat.com/mantis/view.php?id=2125 Below are full details of the bug-report: SUMMARY State of UI setting "Preferences, Hide Scrollers" is incorrect. DESCRIPTION In "Preferences"-dialog, in "Theme"-tab, the state of the checkbox setting called "Hide scrollers" is the opposite of what it is supposed to be. When "Hide Scrollers" is CHECKED (enabled), the scrollers are SHOWN. When "Hide Scrollers" is UNCHECKED (disabled), the scrollers are HIDDEN. This behavior is the exact opposite of what the checkbox is supposed to do. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Open "Preferences, Themes". Make "Hide Scrollers" checked, and scrollers will be shown (incorrect). Make "Hide Scrollers" unchecked, and scrollers will be hidden (incorrect). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Please see the attached files for a visual description of the problem. Cheers, AgentSam
  2. By the way... I found one more missing icon in the "3DCOAT SKIN" forum theme. HTML tag with missing source file: <img class="icon" src="http://3dcoat.com/forum/public/style_images/3dc_master/tick_10px.png"> This is the icon for "Mark Solved": You should propably have the webmaster do a folder compare between: /forum/public/style_images/3dc_master/ and /forum/public/style_images/master/ because these icons are correct while using the IP.Board forum theme. (However, personally I much prefer to use the darker 3DCOAT forum theme.) Cheers, AgentSam
  3. Hi, Nope. When I'm logged into Mantis, the buttons I have for that section of the "View Issue Details" page look like this: So there's really just "Monitor" and "Move"... I believe the options you have are for admins only. After posting an issue on Mantis, all I can do after-the-fact is add "Notes" to the issue. I guess that's not a major problem... and after some googling about it, I found that this is the "normal" way Mantis works for users without admin priviledges. Cheers, AgentSam
  4. Hi, Please check and confirm if you get the same problem: http://3dcoat.com/mantis/view.php?id=2120 Below are full details of the bug-report: SUMMARY When using "3DCOAT SKIN", Green ANSWERED-badge icon is broken. DESCRIPTION When logged into forums, any topics which have the green ANSWERED-badge associated with them, show a broken icon because the image source file does not exist in the theme. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Log into forums. Make sure "3DCOAT Skin" is selected as the theme. Enter a board, such as "3D COAT FORUMS, GENERAL 3D-COAT, 3D-COAT". Every topic that has the ANSWERED-badge shows a broken icon. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Refer to images below for a visual description of the problem. (Screenshots taken while browsing with Firefox.) Cheers, AgentSam PS. I have not discovered how I can edit/correct my own bug-reports on Mantis after I have posted them.. is there a way to do that? PPS. Are there any resizing parameters that can be used with the BBCode img tag?
  5. If I want to discuss (to confirm) a possible bug before leaving a report on Mantis, then which forum should I post my message to and is it customary to use subject prefixes or topic tags when posting such messages? (eg. [bUG], [bUG DISCUSSION], etc.) Also, am I correct in assuming that the "Support Archives" forums are closed, because I get a notice saying "You cannot start a new topic" when I'm viewing messages on those forums. Or is this an issue with my user status or something.
  6. 1. CURRENTLY ACTIVE NAVIGATION SETTINGS? Details: When I use the "Camera" menu and select "Custom Navigation, 3D-Coat" or one of the other navigation presets, how do I see which navigation preset is currently active? Case scenario: Let's say I've been coding with C# in Visual Studio for a couple of weeks, and then I get back to 3D design with 3D-Coat. By then I have completely forgotten which navigation preset I was using. So I would like to know, preferably just by looking at the "Custom Navigation" submenu, which preset is currently active. I'm sure there are other usage cases when it would be useful to see what the active preset actually is. 2. WHERE ARE CUSTOMIZED NAVIGATION SETTINGS SAVED? Details: Let's say I have selected the "3D-Coat" custom navigation preset as a starting point, and have then used the "Customize Navigation" option. Now, when I make customizations to the navigation settings, where will my changes be saved? Will they overwrite the original preset or are they saved somewhere else? Are they perhaps only kept until I select a new preset? In other words, will modifications to navigation settings be lost when selecting a new/different navigation preset? Case scenario: I might want to take a backup of my customized settings before updating 3D-Coat. Or, I might want to share my 3D-Coat presets with someone else. 3. HOW DO I RESTORE DEFAULT NAVIGATION SETTINGS? Details: If the answer to item #2 is, that all customizations made to navigation settings overwrite the original defaults, then how does one revert back to factory defaults after doing some customizations? Case scenario: One of these days I might mess up my navigation settings so badly that I want to revert to the "factory defaults". How do I do that? Cheers, AgentSam PS. I'm currently using 3D-COAT 4.5.36 Beta on Windows, but as far as these question go, version shouldn't matter much...
  7. Hi, my name is Sam and I currently live in Outokumpu, Finland. Computers, programming and computer-graphics have been my hobby ever since I discovered Commodore 64 in 1982. My knowledge in programming became a profession, which eventually led to the founding of my own company. I have been a programmer for the last 30 years. I worked at Megavest creating device drivers for point-of-sale devices. Ultimately I found it too restrictive for my creative mind. So, I quit and took up art studies. I graduated from the South-West Finlands Institute for Arts, Crafts and Design in the summer of 2009. I founded AIVOMEDIA, a small game development startup company in Finland, in December 2013. (We're all working hard behind the scenes and keeping a low-profile for now, there is a million things waiting to get done and days go by so fast.) I also have a wonderful woman. She's a teacher at a nearby high-school / college. We have four kids, two boys and two girls. They're all teens, but relatively easy to manage.. most of the time. I'm using 3D-Coat, Blender, Rhino 3D, Photoshop and Unity 3D game engine, among other things. I've read most of the character profiles on this forum, and I'm happy to be a part of such a talented and diverse group of people. Live long and prosper!
