Hello, PolyHertz.  I installed 1.9a in 3dsmax 2017, then follow the instruction create a VRayMtl material preset and assign to the model, put color.jpg and gloss.jpg into the map slot,  before export to 3dcoat I set the Material Preset to VRayMtl-Fresnel.mat in 3DC AppLink, after painted somthing on model in 3d-coat, I export textures use v-ray standard GGX presets. But after import into 3dsmax, the material is standard , not VRayMtl,  where is my wrong? Thanks.

  2. hi, version 4.5 export PBR to unity 5, if use Gloss/specular work flow there save texture to png format havn't problem, glossness map is in alpha channel. 

    But if change work flow to Gloss/metalness, I can't find glossness map in alpha channel with same png format, metalness has a single texture, glossness has another single texture, how to solve this problem? Thanks.

    I would like to know how to define texture map's name from export?

     

    For example the specular name, if 'export objects & textures', it will automatic create name for "object_UVChannel_1_specular_color", but I only want it be "object_spec", how to do this?

  4. I think vray support the textures and alpha, then after export the textures and use vray material the result will be same.

    Yes Vray support glossy and specular etc.

     

    And I use orange color painted the surface, but after export glossy map still havn't color information.

  5. Hello, I want to know how to adjust brush spacing, I didn't find out the tool that to change the spacing value in paint and sculpt brush.

     

    In mudbox there the brush has a ''stamp spacing'' to adjust the stamp image's distance, but where is the function in 3d-coat ? thanks.
