  1. I've been getting into 3d printing lately and came across the "splits and joints" features in 3d Coat. These seem like very useful tools for breaking up my models before printing, which are things I've been doing manually in Max and Zbrush. What I'm wondering is if the splitting in 3d Coat can ONLY be a straight line (as shown in the features video), or if the user can define a freeform curve for slicing. In other words, instead of cutting in a flat disc across a single plane, can I instead cut based on a spline shape projection. This would be similar to the "slice" features in Zbrush or ProCutter in Max. Also, are the Joints additions (pegs and keys) only available when using the Split tool, or can they be added to a model which has been previously sliced in other software? Thanks, M
