I have a few models exported from C4D that are low poly and flat shaded. When I import them into 3D-Coat (under surface sculpting) their phong/garoud shading becomes fully smoothed. Even an imported cube will do this, and it's driving me crazy. Seems like such a basic procedure and it's not working for me.
I've searched the program for options, as well as the forum for answers. I've turned up nothing yet. Am I missing something obvious? Please help!
