  1. ...This is the problem with the FEATURE REQUESTS section of the forum, in general. People naturally tend to make assumptions about something that they think they know what everybody else  is talking about.

     

    duh, i can use the transform tool.  im talking about the rotation in other than transform mode.. why should i have to leave my current tool to use translate to get the angle i want and then have to go into my previous tool,.? and sometimes this is not even possible.

  2. i dont have video recording software but what i mean is that from certain view, if i want to rotate right, it wont let me. i have to rotate around till i get to the area i want to see , but even then i am not in the correct view, it is upside down or some other view.

  3. the transparent view needs to be more transparent. by that i mean you should be able to see everything/all layers and the angles/shapes inside. like  in zbrushl.  or better. i need to be able to see where i need to make changes with my cutoff and pose etc...

  4. why the heck does the pose axis always start at a stupid angle. it always starts at some 17 degree angle.  i have to set it manually every stinking time!!   it should be in line with the main world axis to start!

  5. i suggest a way to be able to adjust the roundness/sharpness of the output of the desired brush.  from very round to very sharp..  say by holding the alt or control and alt, something like that.  for brushes like grow, extrude, build etc..

     

    as well  as the height. say with a height  number input  box. the brush height deal just dont work so hot for faster more accurate results. it may be faster for inaccurate stuff but then the fudging the shape after is sloppy.

  6. wheels was mistake. i know you can make anything with a cylinder too but i would like to have a primitive to just add to the scene. you can make gears too from a cylinder but the gear primative is faster to get into action.

  7. i suggest a brush mode that lets you draw on an object and produce the drawing on a separate  layer.. similar to the vox layer bush idea but instead of using a mask you just brush the layer onto the object.

    for example the buildup brush , in this "separate layer mode",  when you draw on top of another object,  a separate layer is produced, instead of blending in with the underlying object.

  8. i suggest that you add that when you are in the cut off tool, that when  you hold the control key, everything outside the normal cutoff area is cut. that is just the inverse of the regular way with out the control key. this is the same principal as with the draw tool and others that push in when the control key is pressed.
