  1. Thank you for the reply , I will watch these now but I think you answered my question
  2. Hi , Another Noob Question and I hope I am able to paint the right picture of the problem I am facing .. I want to retopo a model in 3D Coat so I do the following 1-Open a New project and click on the "Perform Retopology" button 2-I then chooseImport Reference Mesh (Up to 2-4 Million ... etc ...) 3-I then choose my obj file and press OK 4-I have only the Root in my vox tree and RetroGroup1 in my Retopo Objects Shelf ... I start drawing the polygons and these polygons seem to be on the same layer as the mesh I imported .. turning the visibility of that object/layer hides the polygons I am drawing instead of the imported mesh and no matter what I do the original mesh always seems to be visible .. Is there a way to have the polygons I am drawing be on a new layer and is their any intuitive way to hide that mesh I imported ?
  3. Thanks for the reply , works great but how can I then move that AUTOPO version once it's done to a new sub-object in the vox tree ? because right now it only seems to exist in the retopo objects panel
  4. Hi I want to learn 3D coat but I seem to be still lost in the concept behind voxels , I drew a primitive and cutoff some shapes in it but I want to see the topology of my model and retopologize it properly .. how do I do that ? Is there a way to exit the voxel mode and enter into a regular look mode where I can manipulate points and polygins ? So basically should I commit the voxels in anyway ? Thanks in advance for your reply and hope my question was clear
