  1. Hey there. So here I have a simple leg that i want to unwrap and all is going well except the fact that after i mark seams and click unwrap on of the islands becomes grey colored in the viewport and messed up overall. What's up with that? Thanks.
  2. Lewis2e, Yeah that might be what I was looking for! Now couple more newbie questions- How do I delete UV sets without deleting geometry itself and how do I select my part that i want to transfer to some other UV set? Like how do I drag-select all of the faces together or is there some kind of buttom which let's me select all the object at once? Because so far I'm only able to select edges for uv seams.
  3. So I made this table which contains 3 different objects. Now how do I import it so all the UV maps doesn't get mashed into one? (Like showed in my screenshot). I want them to stay separate. Or am I missing something here? Thanks! Oh and if I click on "Green"- where it says click to select UV set it only shows 1 UV set which is called "Green". And if I'm correct, there should be two more sets.

  5. Well what i want is to export my mesh from C4D (In this case i just used a sphere for a test), UV it there and then texture. And that is what i tried with this sphere, why would i need to retopo anything for this? At least in Substance Painter it all works this simple way.
  6. 4.7.12 Oh and i made a mistake in my first post, what i meant to say is that it looks like smart material eorks just fine in preview window, but if i apply it there is no depth information at all.
  7. Hey, I'm new to 3D Coat and I struggle to understand why any of depth information doesn't seem to work for me (I've attached example). When for example i apply smart leather material to my sphere i can clearly see normal/bump/depth map working properly, but after i apply the material the depth effect is gone and when i export my normal map it is empty too. I can't even understand how i'm supposed to manually paint height/depth map, if i only leave depth channel on in the settings and try to paint- nothing happens. What i am doing wrong here? Thanks!
