  1. Thanks for the reply. The video didnt have merging of paint objects. Usually the paint objects are created when individually baking sculpted objects in 3d coat. When export as an obj in 3d coat, Unreal game engine would detect the import of the obj with these paint objects belonging to individual static meshes.

For example: If i baked three retopo meshes and three paint objects would appear in 3d coat. After exporting as a single object, Unreal will detect the import with three static meshes.

Unreal has a functionality of merging them back together as a single mesh. But i am looking for 3d coat solution.

  2. Is there such a process where we can have a sculpt object like a window frame, with its own retopo object?

example : sculpt a window frame and place them all over a building. But have to do the same for retopo which seems a little repetitive. So having a sculpt object with its own retopo object would technically save time in modelling.

  3. How to select certain portion of a retopo mesh (in retopo room) for fill painting?

Take for example, i have a six sided cube. I have determined certain portions of the quads to be metal and the other part to be wood.

I have tried using a single cube and separating the faces to two different retopo objects in the retopo room but they still get filled in as a single object in the paint room.

  4. Hi, how do i copy and paste the entire unwrap of an object and paste it to the UV map on top of another similar object?

For example : i have couple of similar tree branches with the same UV, and i want to copy paste them together to share the same UV space. I have done so successfully for a single part but not for entire object.
