  1. Sorry, I've notice something, right now, that when I disable 'Show Voxels in Paint Room' BEFORE, at the beginning of my work, everything works fine, and my preview looks fine, I guess thats the solution ;) does it means that each time I start working in Paint room I have to turn off 'Show Voxels in Paint Room' option?? Thanks

What about this yellow marked 'Apply UV set' command is it default in version 4.18.16A? maybe it is normal...

PS. by the way, great support you supply to 3D Coat users here on forum.

OK, so I'm getting closer to what I'm looking for, but still, there is something wrong with these alpha brushes ;) Check out attached image. When I paint it creates this unwanted circle around the alpha area. In the preview window alphas looks fine, without any circular shape around ;) Any ideas what I did wrong?

    Strips

    Brush Components - Strips

Strips allow you to make repeating patterns along your strokes. Strips use black and white images, similar to Brush Alphas. The Strip will also be filtered through your Brush Alpha, allowing for more advanced painting effects. A example of using a Strip, is stitching on clothing or shoes, bullets on a bandolier, etc. Strips work primarily in the Paint Room, but can also be used with some of the sculpting tools in the Sculpt Room. Strips do not work in any other room.

Thank you so much. I will follow your advice then ;) Have a good day

  4. Thanks guys, although your advice are very handy and helpful, and I will take a closer look to them, it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I need to achieve very high level of realism like I attached in the image below the post. Some time ago I found a tutorial from Poliigon.com presenting a brush sets like this

Can I use them in 3D Coat? Can I create them by myself in Photoshop like this guy Arrimus 3D is doing on this second tutorial??

  5. Hello guys,

I was wondering for a long time untill now, how can I paint stitches, cloth seams on low poly objects. Should I use alpha brushes? or sculpting brushes to this purpose? There are some Z brush sets but I'm not sure if I should do it in Sculpting room, or Paint room. Could I create a brush in Photoshop and paint on a texture normal map ? Sory, I'm bit confused, is it painting stil,l or is it sculpting matter already??? if you know what I mean ;) Thanks in advance

  6. Hallo guys, I'm new in the group, I've bought  3D Coat 2 weeks ago and I already need some help. I'm doing some tutorials after Jayanam on YT, and I found that my 'Smart materials preview' quality is much better then after 'Fill whole layer'. How could I find the solution. Does my UV map is bad, I set it 2048 during import. If there was a similar topic here already in the past, please share a link to it. Thanks ;)
