  1. I would like to take advantage of your kindness to ask you to indicate me the steps necessary to obtain the three files (then to merge together with PhotoShop). I attach the model I am using just to play around 3D Coat. I do not have photoshop, I have Corel PhotoPaint... I will check if it has the tool to merge the files. Thans a lot again... PINO
  2. I try to explain better. After having prepared a 3D model, I usually import the model in Pepakura, a software dedicated to develop the planar surface of the model and to edit it in the best way. This is a common step in the paper modelling design process. The problem is that Pepakura recognize the geometry, of course, and the texture of the model, but it is not able to recognize the bumps and the other rendering components, that makes the model more interesting. The solution should be to have a texture (a simple .jpg file, for example) with all the rendering effects, of course fixed in a particular configuration, but this is not a problem... As you see, the problem is linked to the conversion of the model from virtual to the real world... sorry for not being technically precise, but 3DCG is not my precise field... Thanks for your help. Ciao, PINO
  3. Hi all! I am a paper automata & model designer. Since I create paper models from 3D virtual models, I design very simple 3D models (I mean, very low-poly models... as low as possible). Consequently, my needs regarding the topology of the models are very basic. On the other hand, the texture for the paper models have to be very rich, detailed and accurate. My question is: I know that in 3d Studio Max there is the tool "render to texture", that is useful for exporting color, normal, bump maps in just one file. Is there a similar tool in 3D Coat? Is it possible to produce a single "rendered" texure with the "Texture Baking Tool" option? Thanks a lot for your help! Ciao, PINO
