[3D Coat 2022 version for Linux]

Is there a 3D Coat 2022 version  for Linux coming?

The following is code that will help you make a link to 3d coat on Ubuntu Linux.

copy this entire code into a file call 3dcoat.sh after you follow the code's instructions

rename it to 3dcoat.lnk. It's all commented in the code.

I attach it as a file .zip file too so you can just use it.

Remember to read the file first as it have instruction on how to get it all working, good luck all... nick

Can we just have one set of Sculpting tools why so many?

-Basic Tools-

Clay / Scrape

Pinch

Crease

Flatten

Grab / Move

Rotate

Scale

Inflate

Pattern Stamp

-Extended Tools ( these tools should build a structure and stay live so when you affect them the sculpt moves)-

Bones / Curves

Muscles ( this tool is nice good job here)

and all should inverted with the right mouse button pressed.

yet another test sculpt. seems like I'm getting the hang and feel for this app.

Still want my own tool shelf.

[Voxel tools disappear]

After working on a voxel model I switched to proxy mode.

Once I toggle proxy mode off the voxel tools never comes back ( there is no scrape tool )

instead all I see is the proxy sculpt tools.

Dude you should check out darkstep music it's like high-energy street fighter 3 music.

I don't like the way 3D Coat brushes behave. The truth shall set you free. Please you guys check out Sculptris.

Right click should invert a brush. Holding the ctrl button is not easy.

The screen shots with the girl is a blender > sculptris model ( you can get that model free: Free Model Download).

The allure of 3d coat is that it could allow you to do models from scratch with in it from head to toe.

I think adaptive tessellation might be the way to go.

But hey, I'll just keep trucking on. I wish the user can make a shelf of tools so he / she can ignore the zany ones...
