  1. I did some more testing. I did the model in Moi3D. Exporting the mesh with triangulation from Moi, works fine: Then exporting the same model from Blender, still works OK. The only issue happens if I export from Moi3D with nGons, and then I triangulate it in Blender, that's when the issue happens, which is strange because it's opening just fine in Marmoset, and C4D as well. So, I can simply export it triangulated from Moi3D. I'll DM you the model. -- Now I need to figure out a few things about the smart materials. I'll go through some basic tutorials, but at the moment it seems that in order to tweak the smart material, every time I need to create a new one, rather than simply tweaking the material applied to the layer. And I haven't found a way how to apply materials to separate paint objects yet. Got it: with the fill layer it is possible to choose the object to fill. Edit: and I found the answer to my other smart material question: From this tutorial Bummer, I hoped that tweaking a material applied to a layer would be more flexible. I guess I will stick to Marmoset Toolbag for the texturing part, and rely on 3d Coat for the sculpting process. Edit: After watching the 2nd part, it started making more sense. It seems in 3d Coat the painting workflow relies more actually on painting, basically it means using the smart materials as a base to paint them, instead of building layers with smart materials and tweaking their parameters. Maybe it's just a matter of getting used to its workflow.
  2. That doesn't work. I get this warning: And if I click OK, I only see the Tool Options with the Apply button, though the scene is empty. I click on Apply, and I have this: nothing in the scene, even though apparently some geometry has been imported.
  3. Thanks @Carlosan You mean for voxelization, like this?
  4. Hi there, I just purchased 3d Coat. During the trial, I did some test importing models created in Blender without any problem. Now, I'm having some issue with a particular mesh. As you can see in the screenshot below, something seems off about the normals. This is the wireframe: The funny thing is, during the trial I had issues in Marmoset, while it worked flawlessly in 3d Coat, but now the same mesh looks just fine in Marmoset: These are the default settings I'm using, though I also tried welding the vertexes, and a few other options: Any hints?
