  1. It happens with the latest version too and i upgraded from learning to full version. And not only on my PC, but on those in the University too.
  2. It's only working when i Render Frame Sequence - but not when i check Save Lossless Images or Render Sub-Squence - and only when i safe it in the documents/3dcoat folder. At least i got the turntable clip now - but I don't understand why it's only working this one way.
  3. I am currently learning 3DCoat and we got left alone with some tutorial videos and an object to make. Problem is, the teacher isn't showing a workflow but is always talking about the whole UI, therefore I now struggle a lot with the order of commands. I built a mug with primitives, sculpted a bit around, went to the Retopo-Room and made the retopo for everything, unwrapped it and all - complex Checker looks good. But after baking (Bake->Bake with Normal Map (Per Pixel)), I got told that I also need to calculate Occlusion and Curvature. But when? Before baking or after it and what does it do? I have absolutely no understanding for the logic at this part of the project. Where is what. What information does Poly Groups have, the Sculpt Tree have and the Layers? What is relevant for the next steps and what is left behind from now on? It's so confusing for me, because i do not see any connections between the steps. I was looking for tutorials but they either get in to much details of other things or just show a quick export. I need to export the textured object into Maya and render it there. But everything else has to be done in 3DCoat. The object currently shows a shader i used, but i don't think it's the real texture yet.
  4. There is no such folder. There is a folder created in RenderedImages, but the images disappear when 3DCoat is done rendering. I was looking at the Users Documents Folder and the Installation Folder path on C.
  5. When i render the Turntable, 3DCoat is processing the images but not saving them anywhere. I figured out how to get 360 seperate image files but when it was done, the folder was empty again. I am using the learning edition.
  6. Noob here. When i create the default cylindric primitive, i get like 6.000 tris and it looks bad. Height is 20 cm and radius 10 cm. When i drag it larger to around 90cm in height, it obviously comes with more tris and looks smoother - around 90.000. Is it normal that i can't tell 3DCoat to start with around 100.000 for the 20cm primitive or am i just not seeing it?
  7. I have the Brushes Panel at the bottom of my screen - under the viewport in the sculpting room. When i tried to resize it, it popped out and filled the whole workspace and instantly caused a crash. The message named my GPU and said Tool: VIX HIDE. Could not go into the sculpt room again, because it instantly crashed when i did so. I set everything to default again and it's working now. Saw this reported on forums in 2018 and it's still a thing.
