  1. For me in the end it seemed that the save file itself was corrupted somehow. I started again on a fresh project and everything seemed to work well. Something mustțve happened when I transferred the file from my computer to my laptop...
  2. Hello! I seem to have a problem with applying smart materials. As you can see, in the first photo, my material is applied quite erratically to the surface (I am using "gun_metal_old" material, for reference, but the issue is present with any material). In the 2nd picture I attached the way it should look like. The 2nd picture is what I did on my computer, where everything seemed to work fine. Now I am on my laptop, where I am experiencing this issue. I probably turned off/on some feature, but I can't for the life of me figure out what.
  3. Hello there! As the title suggests, I am importing a mesh I made in Blender to 3DCoatTextura in order to texture it, but the mesh appears very strangely broken when imported, even though it looks fine in Blender. Moreover, when importing the same mesh into Unity it looks fine, so I'm pretty sure the file from Blender is not broken or anything. Anybody has any ideas on this? Is it a bug, is it something I am doing wrong? I have never seen something like this before. The first two images I attached are from Blender and Unity, respectively. The last two are from 3DCoatTextura.
  4. Wow, thanks a lot for the quick reply! I found it, thank you.
  5. Hello, I have just started using 3DCoat yesterday, mainly to learn how to texture better. I am following along a tutorial right now, however this tutorial is quite old, it's from 2017. The problem that I am running into is that in the tutorial the person shows me how to make AO and Curvature Maps by going to the "textures" tab, where he simply has the "Calculate AO Map" and "Calculate Curvature Map" options. I don't have these options in the "textures" tab. I suspect they were moved from there, but I can't for the life of me find out how to calculate these maps now. Can anybody help? I need to mention that I am running the trial version right now. Perhaps these features aren't avaliable in the trial version? Thank you in advance!
