  1. Thanks. I just tested a few different models in case I had that problem. I was pretty meticulous with the modeling and UVing. Same result - crash. I also rolled back to version 2023 16. Same result - crash.
  2. Please help. I'm getting a crash when I start and select the option "Painting w/ Deep Displacement", then ticking "Import Tiles as UV Sets" in the Loading Object options panel. I've tried it with a range of different options selected: Low or high "Millions of Polygons" ticked and unticked "smooth object" Mapping type all three options and small texture sizes: 1k, 0.5k The models or the UVs don't seem to matter either, they can be high or low poly, or have a UDIM setup or not. The common factor in the crash is "Import Tiles as UV sets" I can even tick then untick the "Import Tiles as UV sets" box and it will crash, even if I hit "cancel" to close the "loading object..." options box. The tick-box is cursed. I assume UDIM to UV Sets has been functional for a while, it's not new in 3DCoat right? what am I doing wrong?
  3. Thanks, that's confirmed it for me. Texture Editor IS the same 2D view as in Substance. I continued on with the tutorial I was on, most of the issues I was having applying a picture in the Texture Editor was due to me having a 'Strip' still active. Other issues were probably the result of back to front UV's, idk, wasn't my model.
  4. I'm trying to switch from Substance Painter to Textura. Is there a way to paint on 2D like in Substance Painter. I'm doing a tutorial that involves using a 'picture' like a stencil in Substance. I'm applying it in the 'texture editor' window because the model is a cylinder. It's doing all kinds of bonkers stuff, getting twisted up, warping, and then doing nothing when I hit 'apply'. It would be better I think if I could load the picture as a 3DCT stencil and paint it on in the view port - but can I make the viewport show a flat 2D UV layout like Substance does... or am I stuck using the texture editor window?
