Also that "smoothing" tool does not work well or what I want. Which is why I use power-smooth but if you try to smooth near the edge of a mesh you most likely will get the same effect I'm getting

Its not under the coloring tool. If you look two tools below it says "power smooth"

On top of this I hate the fact that you can't paint on the mesh unless it's visible in the viewport. For example if I want to get a hard corner in between the fingers it will not register the brush unless I adjust the angle and paint. Which makes it impossible to keep a clean brush stroke, and causes me to constantly have to move my viewport in awkward angles just for it to color in.

I am literally so frustrated with this software after purchasing it... It's almost impossible to use because it doesn't cooperate with what I'm trying to achieve. Basically any time I use the power-smooth tool it starts to smooth in a white color at the edges of the mesh? I don't have any sort of white color attached and yet it still does this which screws me over every second I'm trying to smooth something. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this just how the brush is made? cuz *****.
