  1. Ah that’s great thanks! Makes sense now so it’s kind of layers within the sculpt tree layers. I’ll have to have a play with it! Thankyou!
  2. As I continue learning 3d coat one thing I’m confused about is the layers tool/ window. In the sculpt tree there are layers which I understand, but then there’s an additional panel/tool called layers. so I’m not sure what the difference between the two is, how to use the other layers or what it’s used for. I often see people praising it as a great feature. Does anyone have a good guide to how and maybe and example of when you’d use this layer panel? Many thanks!
  3. I should mention the only other way I'm currently doing it is to merge the layers, fill or smooth then use the split tool to recreate layers. But if theres a way to sculpt smoothly across different layers I'd love to know.
  4. Hi, I'm pretty new to 3d coat but really loving it and getting on pretty well so far. Apologies if this is a basic question. If I have two different layers in the sculpt tree which I want to keep separate and not merge, how do I then blend between them smoohtly? For example I want to use the fill tool to smooth a seam between the two layers? As is I can only select one layer and it wont then 'attach' or smooth onto the other. The only way i know is to merge the layers into one. Is there a simple way around this to keep the layers? Thanks!
