Member Ziggy72 Posted September 9, 2016 Member Report Share Posted September 9, 2016 Hi, can't understand this, but when I apply any metal shader to any object and export it the colour TGA is totally black. Using 4.7, following the correct procedures for UVs and the like, and painting stuff normally works fine, but as soon as I apply anything metal everything goes black on export. So dumb of me, sorry - when exporting, you have to change the Texture Import/Export Workflow from the default (Gloss Colour Specular) to Gloss Metalness, and then no more black textures.
