Making model transparent for cs2.

I have seen someone make a skin for a gun model on counter strike 2 and you can see through the weapon. However when I try to do the same by setting layer 0 to transparent and layer one with a glass material to 50% it just shows as solid in game. This is what it looks like in 3d coat:

I've tried exporting in different ways but the cs2 workbench only allows for albedo, roughness, ao, and normal maps like below:

I've also turned off back face culling.

Any info would be greatly appreciated cheers.
