hi, i just installed 3D Coat with Cuda Support vut it didnt work,

so i tried some things to solve the problem. And i found a solution,

which i like to share. I dont know if someone has posted this earlier.

I Installed the newest cuda drivers

and development kit (http://developer.nvidia.com/object/cuda_3_0_downloads.html)

as written at the end of the installation.

3D Coat didnt want to start. A message was shown, that cudart.dll is missing.

Reinstalling of drivers didnt help.

How i fixed the issue:

1. go into the cuda development kit folder.

Mine was at C:\Cuda

2. go into the bin or bin64 ( dependent what bit OS u are using, 32bit or 64bit )

3. copy the cudart_XX_XX.dll ( xx stands for version number )

4. paste the cudart_XX_XX.dll into the root folder of your 3d coat installation.

5. rename the cudart_XX_XX.dll to cudart.dll and you are done.

6. Start your Cuda supported 3D Coat

i hope this can help someone

cheers²
