Member John Strieder Posted February 18, 2011 Member Report Share Posted February 18, 2011 Hello everybody, is it possible to change the font- or (better) GUI-Size in 3D-Coat? Thanks in Advance, Strieder
Psmith
John: It is possible - but limited to available space in whichever "Panel" the text appears. So, you might be able to go up 1 to 1.5 point sizes - with "BOLD" text, but that's about it. It's slightly complex and it involves using a program called "FontGen". I've done this, myself and I'll attach the little program to this post. Here are Andrew's instructions for use: There is no [easy?] way to change font right now.Ok, maybe I will send you program to experiment. I attached archive, unpack it somewhere. Run, choose 1024 x 1024, font, size. START Copy files Font00.dds and Font00.bf to Unicode folder (keep backup of older files). Member John Strieder Posted February 19, 2011 Author Member Report Share Posted February 19, 2011 Thanks Greg and Andrew, unfortuantely it seems like the tool doesn't generate a .dds-file here :S BTW, that's my suggestion for 3D-Coat: a sort of scalable inerface for people with big monitors and/or eye complaints
