I saved a model to an STL file and tryed to print it (3D printer)

The 3D printer indicated an error not allowing it to print.

It vaguely indicated there were gaps in the model.

The model size was only 4M

I imported the model (OBJ) into ClayTools and again as I mentioned before, the program has a fumction of filling in gaps.

After I imported and saved it under an STL file and it is now 47M

Can anyone tell me what might be happenning?

It could be related to my previous post regaing poser figures I tryed to import not appearing solid.

Thanks in advance

Tony
