Awesome, thanks!  I look forward to testing it.

View > Show voxels... Voxel Sculpting > Open external file > Select the obj file After Import, on Nodes Room > Source Object Add Voxel   Nodes: outDisplacement Noise3D: Voronoi Fracture (ex) Result   * If Source type it is not visible, the procedure is the same

Source type: Object. The problem is the same. If I use my own geometry or create the voxel geometry in 3DCoat, it doesn’t work and turns black as soon as I add the ‘Out Displacement’ node. Only the voxel geometry in the preset works for me. Thanks.

      Check source type

But if I import my own geometry and convert it to voxel mode, then add the ‘out Displacement’ node in the Node Editor, the geometry turns black. Also, Voronoi has no effect on it at all. Is it possible that only the preset voxel geometry works? Or is there some further preparation required after I’ve imported my own .obj file?

      THANK YOU!  It's work!!!

Hi! The displacement is grey again for $EXPORT_DEPTH_LAYERS_TO_FILE, and when using the export constructor (displacement). I checked both versions 17 and legacy.  This happend on older versions very occassionally too. I would love to find out what is causing this.   The other $EXPORT_DEPTH_TO_FILE, $SAVE_LAYERS_DISP commands are working fine, and report depth as message. I'm really glad to see that the new channels already exist as export option. That is soo cool! Greetings

Hi! Could you please send the "gltf" file for research? Thank you.

I’ll show you in a video instead: when the Voronoi pattern is applied, the effect doesn’t appear on the voxel geometry in real time – it only appears when I press the ‘Apply pattern to volume’ button. Thanks! SMALL_3dcoat_2026.17NS_nodes_live_test.mp4

Question. Using Nodes-Material. Layer x I set the depth offset to .2 or the depth to .2. All the layers change to this depth. Are not layers independent from each other?  Edit: Works correctly texture applied incorrectly

Description: The imported relief geometry should be able to follow a Spline Curve. By dragging and editing the spline control points, the relief should automatically bend and deform to follow the new spline shape in real time. Core concept: Import Data → Create/Edit Spline → Drag Spline Control Points → Relief Automatically Follows and Bends to the Spline The goal is to make the spline act as a deformation backbone for the imported relief, allowing the user to easily create different curved, flowing and decorative relief designs.

I’ve fixed the issue in the latest version.

Since the official Chinese localization was completed by Teacher Zhu Feng back in 2024, two years have passed. We have found that many strings remain untranslated in version 2026.17. We hope the official team can fix this issue to provide users with a smoother experience.

Thanks, but live editing isn’t working for me – it worked for you in the tutorial video. For me, the Voronoi effect only appears after I’ve clicked the ‘Apply Pattern to Volume’ button. Thx! The tutorial video:

UPDATE: I managed to solve the issue somehow, I did 2 things: 1. I allowed absolutely every 3DCoat thing through firewall 2. I installed 3DCoat 2026.17 on a different device and there where no issues. So, I copied installation and documents folders to a usb and used them to replace files on my main device. Now 3DCoat works just fine.

We’re excited to share that KitBash, the company behind 3D art platforms KitBash3D and Greyscalegorilla, has acquired Sketchfab and ArtStation.    Artists and studios use KitBash3D and Greyscalegorilla to access extensive libraries of 3D assets and materials, professional design and animation tools, educational resources, and workflow technology that is integrated directly into leading creative applications. Together, KitBash3D, Greyscalegorilla, Sketchfab, and ArtStation will support artists at every stage of the creative process from bringing ideas to life to sharing their work and building their careers.     This community is central to what makes Sketchfab great and as part of KitBash we will continue to create opportunities for artists to come together, collaborate, share and learn. There are no changes to how you access or use Sketchfab and your portfolios, models, embeds, and existing workflows will continue to operate as they do today.    Check out the full announcement over on the Sketchfab blog.    We’re grateful to the artists and creators who have shaped Sketchfab over the years, and we look forward to this next chapter with KitBash.   The Sketchfab Team
