Consolidate some of the new Surface tools

Hi,

I just watched the new set of video tutorials from Javis about the new surface tools in 3.2 (and BTW thanks Javis, you're tutorials are always great!).

It seemed to me that the Absolute tool could exist as a checkbox option for the Extrude tool. And also the Gum tool could be a checkbox option for the Rapid or Draw tool. I think in the videos the Absolute tool is described in that way, as being just like the Extrude tool but with one difference.

Consolidating these as options on existing tools might not just clear up the number of tools but also make the purpose of some of these much easier to understand.

Just wanted to put this out there as food for thought.

agreed ... it would help if there would be 2-3 tools that could be customized , or even ONE that can be highly customized and saved ...

at the moment i think its getting a little too much ... flatten and chisel do almost the same, too ...

some tools are nice, some are redundant or could become an option for another tool ...

i think its time to clean up and optimizing the tools that are there (chisel is nice but sometimes behaves strange) instead of adding new ones

Hey thanks Jim! Appreciate the kind words. :)

It's funny you mention this too, btw, I was thinking that these tools needed combined as I was recording the videos. With that said....

+1 for this request! Combine a few of the tools that are similar and put in other modes in tick box or drop down list formats!
