  1. OK I went ahead and allowed it to install in the x86 folder. When I tried to run the 64 version I got this error:

    I tried installing in the 64 bit folder and got the same error.

    Of course this now presents a whole new conundrum. If I just delete it from the 64 bit Program Files, is that going to leave a mess in the registry? Or if I uninstall it will that uninstall both copies and kill off my settings?

    32 bit version loads fine but crashes as soon as i click the volumetric tool. Bug report sent in.

    download the latest directX redist november 2008 pack.

    you can rename is directx_nov2008_redist.exe to .zip and pullout JUN2008_d3dx9_38_x64.cab

    you can rename that zip as well and pullout d3dx9_38.dll and drop that into your C:\Windows\System32

    on machine one, things runs pretty smooth.

    on machine two, interactivity is at standstill.

    xeon 3 GHz

    4 GB

    quadro FX 1100
