Is there any way to invert a depth layer? I have a layer of recessed rivets but would like them to protrude instead... And as I have a lot of these rivets I do not want to paint them all over again... Thanks for any tips!

+1. At least enable an option to lock the 2d grid to the mesh, so when we zoom or transform it doesn't go out of whack. When using snapping with splines sometimes I need to zoom in or out and then I have to recenter the grid - and it is never 100% accurate. With this simple addition, 3D Coat would be the PERFECT tool for my needs!
