  1. First time with vertex paint in 3Dcoat
  2. nothing better than sculpting an ear on new year's eve I gave up the idea of using muscle tool for hair because the process of merging the layer back take forever.
  3. I moved the ear further back and a bit lower than it was and also tested out using muscle tool to create hair which I really like it.
  4. cool ! thanks for the tips I will try that out
  5. I am sculpting hair with clay tool. Is there a way to make brush smaller along the length of the stroke?
  6. In Surface mode on the top menu next to "help" you will see in the drop down menu of Shift and Crt+Shift there are several option you can choose one of those is Powerful smoothing. You can see it on my latest screenshot image. I found that Powerful smoothing work better in Voxel than Surface mode.
  7. not much progress just some works around the neck tonight
  8. couldn't agree more . I should have got main shape right at lower poly before up res this high
  9. I have just discovered Power Smoothing. That tool really helped smoothing my bumpy model.
  10. I really like smooth tool in V4. I couldn't work with it in V3.7
  11. I had a hard time with smooth tool when I increased polycount to around 8 millions my smooth tool behave like a flatten tool and smudge brush left weird hard line on the model. So I had to decrease polycount to around 5 millions. Is there a fix to this issue?
  12. thank you I didn't see that too what a noob i am
  13. I am a newbie for sculpting human head so all constructive comments are welcome. By the way I like this turntable feature http://3d-coat.com/turntableID=135503388219
  14. I am modeling a human head currently working on surface mode about 4 millions poly. I found that my Wacom table works properly only for Buildup, Smooth and Move brush other than that they are out of control take Clay brush for example, I need to set depth as low as 2% to make it works properly as you can see on my second picture. Is there a way to set up Wacom sensitivity in 3Dcoat. By the way I did try set up in Wacom tablet property it didn't make things better. And from the third image even though I increased my poly count to around 4 millions I am still see block of pixels a long the creases of the face how do I resolve this. Thank you.
