  1. yeah its coming really nice along i think.. if i would imagin how many it would cost to do art in reallife. i love cg! its the only way for me at my money to express myself.

  5. i will going to do a video tutorial about this technque soon. it very quick and effective. so after a while ... im coming in the right direction...

  7. while cutting... you can use my technique, i think it works very well
  8. i left a bit of space between my contures, its easier to take things off than to bring things on ^^ anyway, i think thats just in reallife lol so like you see now im having a amazing fat body, now im going to paint a rough conture on it for the top and cut this thing again out.
  9. thats how i start with, i just painted very rough the contures on the side of the cube... and now i go and cut this thing out.
  10. oh thats the one head, how it looks at the moment, i will continue to work on later.. when i bought me a graphics card for my other computer...
  11. i wanna try a new test, if this is working im very very very very happy about this tool. i see in this cube, a crouched human on his knees. with his hands on his head. i dont see a point why it shouldnt be working. only one point -> maybe the hardware, but we will see.

  13. im very happy with my first try at 3d coat, its coming quiet good along... i have to work a bit more on the eyebrowns im not so happy about.
  14. no i mean the technic how its possible to display such a high amount of voxels i think its baking it all time on the fly. wow, if i be carefully i can display a higher resolution look, it starts looking like i want ot have it i love this tool, its a neuronen forcer
  15. thank you it seems to be a amazing tool, if its possible to use polygons and voxels at the same time. i think when you modeling its baking it already in polygons, right? and afterwards it getting filled up with voxels? so its switching all the time? but its a religious question, i said goodbye to polygons. but i will try it what you said, just as experiment,but i think if im merging then the polygons bake to voxels im loosing again lot of detail.
  16. im a bit afraid to going into a higher resolution, but i have to at this resolution, i cant get it like i want to have it. i think my computer will mess up with a higher resolution

  18. no question, when i have enough money left, im going to buy this tool! i love that so much!
  19. about this ptex, i dont know if im right. but it seems to be very easy in theroy. so i think it works this way and it only works with quads if im right -> you scretch automatical all your face at the uv into quad 0 1 ( like you press in maya on unitize), afterwards you give this uvs the ids of your faces. so you know which face is assigned to which quad uv. then you need a layerd imageformat like a modified tiff, where you have maybe in the header of each layer the id which is pointing on the face id and thats it... is it possible to use ptex on polygons >= 5 ? on the way i thought that it is working it wont. or wait, i think it would, if you relativate the polygon in the uv. i think this technic would fit perfect for realtime, if you expand your layers in detail levels, as example for each layer you using 4 level from low detail up to high detail, on that way you get a perfect loding per textureside, throught your cam focus on your faces you switch between those layers. and you just stream the focused part to the to video ram.
  20. cool, i actually saw, its possible to merge obj´s into voxel. lol, i builded this one out of sphere...
