I just loaded the default bust, slapped a few paint and textures on it and saved it.

In C4D and ZBrush, the same OBJ file when re-exported is 4,936 KB. Not sure about the textures in those 2 apps in this case
I am guessing the trick is to always work and save in a lower resolution. I don't know what trade offs there might be in that (too new).
Are file sizes in 3D-Coat an issue as you get into this more? A big issue?
