  1. Seams that the problem was indeed a conflict with old programs. I deleted old V3, V4 etc. in the document folder and that fixed the problem.
  2. Unfortunatly not working. It's a clean install, mmh, is there a conflict between old program. I still have 4.8 installed!? Really weird but in this case not worth an upgrade. EDIT: I tried 2020.40 and this one gives an error and kills the voxel part entirly. Dont know if this is related to my problem. The newer versions gives no error but neither the surface nor clay engine works.
  3. Is the 14day trial Version somehow limited? The clay engine tools (except vox pinch) does nothing. The old Voxel Tools work. Is there some strange magic I have to enable?!
  4. Yes, the head was inspired from a Dazu figurine. Thank you for the welcome Journeymen!
  5. I used 3DCoat only for Texture Painting but with the new Version 4 the Voxel & Live Clay Modeling makes so much fun. My first try attached (started from a doodle so nothing special) ... still much to learn but the potential is amazing - many thanks to the makers of 3D Coat! Modeling & Texturing was only done in 3D Coat, the other stuff was built together in 3DS Max and rendered with Arion.
  6. EDIT: my fault, Quad Voxel creates just quads. During the conversion in poly edit 3ds converted some polys into triangles. So with direct export -> paint in 3DCoat it works. Nevertheless the request remains ;-)
  7. Any chance to get triangle support for PTex soon? I work mainly with high poly objects so autopo is no option for me (much too slow - normal map is a no go and strangly I don't get a displacement map with details, just a pure grey one). Voxel export is great but even the Quad Voxel output creates triangles at the mesh and it's impossible to get rid of the tris (except deleting the tris). Thanks in advance!
