  1. Hi, I'm new to 3DC, and loving it. Right now, I'm going through and doing some organic modeling tutorials, which I'm loving. I'm a long time Lightwave user and have used it to model organic and mechanical models. I'm finding it SUPER easy to create organic models in 3DC( vs Lightwave ). When I do organic model in LW, I'm super conscious of poly flow lines. In 3dc, not so much, b/c I can retopologize Though, I'm looking at the mech tutorials online for 3DC, and the OCD in me, doesn't like the non-exactness to them. (IE: entering in exact values, not eyeballing, etc) For example, making a tank in Lightwave, seems super easy to me vs 3DC. Am I alone in this thinking: 1. Organic modeling use 3DC 2. Mech modeling use Lightwave (or 3d package of your choice Maya, etc)
  2. Hi Everyone, Happy New Year's Eve! I'm a 3d junkie and have used Lightwave since version 5. I've never been a fan in how it works with texturing and mapping. I'm hoping 3DC can help in that area Just purchased it and have started voxel modeling. Pretty intuitive so far. Currently using on a rMBP. Is anyone using 3DC on a tablet they would recommend? Nice to meet everyone! John aka Vazy
