Hi,
I'm new to 3DC, and loving it. Right now, I'm going through and doing some organic modeling tutorials, which I'm loving.
I'm a long time Lightwave user and have used it to model organic and mechanical models.
I'm finding it SUPER easy to create organic models in 3DC( vs Lightwave ).
When I do organic model in LW, I'm super conscious of poly flow lines. In 3dc, not so much, b/c I can retopologize
Though, I'm looking at the mech tutorials online for 3DC, and the OCD in me, doesn't like the non-exactness to them. (IE: entering in exact values, not eyeballing, etc)
For example, making a tank in Lightwave, seems super easy to me vs 3DC.
Am I alone in this thinking:
1. Organic modeling use 3DC
2. Mech modeling use Lightwave (or 3d package of your choice Maya, etc)
