Running latest official version , and Cuda GL runs faster in my case as well.

I am pretty sure that it has 1280 mb , cant see it right now i am at the office.
-
I would say that is not well worth it my friend.

First thing that came on my mind reading your post was drivers , are they up to date?
Second is Ram both system and GPU but i see you have plenty of it.
On my system with quad xeons 32 gb Ram and GTX 470 (use it as a second , as 780 is kept for rendering) i got no issues at all.

Is your system up to date with drivers etc etc?

Thank you very much , keep us informed please.

Kindly keep us informed , as this interests me as well (octane costumer).
Best would be to create a final shader in octane (made from the octane team) that needs only the image inputs , and thats it.
Well done on the shader from your side , and thank you very much.

It seems that you guys are right , it opens jpg , psd etc etc , my bad.

I dont know the hot-key , but if you look at the panels , it says canvas rotation.
Cant check right now , as i uninstalled it.....
-
Can you import .jpg or other image files into that program?
Unfortunately not.....
Awesme. Is is more powerfull than CSP? What about performance? Also I didn't saw canvas rotation feature... will have to test it
Yes it does rotate the canvas.

Well Done Dimitri , well done.

You could hide it from the vox tree by clicking the eye icon , or by clicking the sphere , you could make it transparent.
-
Hmmmm , got the same as well.
If other users can verify it , it should be a bug , that can be reported.
-
Can you please upload a screen shot?
Thank you.

If you haven't started a Trello card and Mantis report for it yet, that would be good. A personally don't see any issues with it, but I would really prefer a way to make completely user custom rooms, that way users could just make their own rooms as needed with whatever tools for company/team/personal workflows.
This would especially be useful for companies and small teams that need to customize tools to their own pipelines.
AMAZING idea , this will keep everyone happy.
Well done Javis , well done.

Yes we need the same setup for the Unity 5 Metallic workflow in 3DC as the Specular Color Workflow. Unity 5 places the roughness \ glossiness in the alpha channel of the metallic map when using the Metallic workflow...
I think once 4.5 gets out the door, that some default export functions for the two game engines would be a very good addition to the export panel... One for Unity 5 ( choosing either Specular or Metallic or both together and separate texture maps would be created) and one Unreal 4... You would not have to select the individual maps but they would be preselected using a default. Of course you would not be force to use a default so you could still export the maps as it is now done.

What you describe is what i did so far myself , anyway , i guess i will give it a bit more time once i get 4.5 back again. Changed to stable after a couple days of using 4.5
Although i use a lot the pbr workflow in my job , with 3dc i dont , since i am still on the Edu version.
Anyway thanks a lot for your lighting fast respond.

So its too much work , maybe a switch option into the paint room , pbr / tradional painting or something?

Yes it can Aleksey , it sure can.

Not talking about the auto in Unreal as it produces very bad results , you can copy the uv in unreal.
If i am not mistaken , it can be done in 3d coat as well , i believe i did this a couple times (or was this the merge???), i am at work right now , and i dont have it installed here.
I will be back at home in a couple hours , and look for it.
Yes you are correct , it can also be done in 3ds max as well.

Have been doing this , as secondary skin animations for several years , and i am certainly not the only one who seeks realism when its really paid.
Andy though , took it to the next level.
