seen all wacom products from the very start , unfortunately i find them all out of my budget at this period.
This is going to be a hard case for me , i see it now....

Tested (for a couple minutes unfortunately) Surface 2 and 3 today , i believe its an over priced product , feeling was ok , but coming from a wacom it may be an issue with sculpting.
Also , getting my hand (left handed) on the screen it kinda hidden the objects under it!!!!!!
Need to go and get on it more time so i can finally decide.

Got really hooked with 3d coat.
I want to get a convertible laptop or Microsoft Surface so i can have it with me at the office and work on it while i am on a render time or break.
Which one do you think is going to run good with 3d coat?
Any suggestions?

If you go down to $150 max $200 i am interested (not right now , you are free to wait and sell to a higher bidder) so i can upgrade from edu to pro.

If you import from another software , make sure you import the 3d models one by one , , this way they get in different layers (after you create them first ) so you can move them on there own.

In scupt room , select the sub object , choose transform from the voxel or surface tools and move the sub object.

Could be nice to have an extrude and extrude path right in 3d coat.
Create a rect or any line shape (selection tools can be used to create this ) and the just extrude or extrude on path (spline to extrude can also be created with the selection tools and the spline tool allready available in 3d coat)

i agree with everything you said.
Unofortunately , the only way i can buy 3d coat, without a risk , is by braking the discountent price into 2 parts and pay it in 2 months time.
Is this possible?
Are there any "special" treatments for special situations?
