  1. Sending the file to support did not work ("Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual alias table", whatever that means).

If you want to check the file, download it here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/53072176/public_files/object.zip

If anyone is able to open it (you can hope, right?) I'd be very, very thankful if you could export it as OBJ and post a link to it here.

Hi, I also could open the 3b file without any problems. Very nice fishy :). If you wish, I can upload the obj file and a newly saved 3b file for you. I also use Beta 13A.

Btw. How did you made the scale? Great one :)!

  2. AbnRanger, are you making this videos? They are really excellent for me. I just bought 3D-Coat, and I love the videos. They a such a good way to learn this software. I also really like your voice and as a not native english speaker I understand absolutly everything.

Thank you so much for making such great learning stuff. That was also one reason for me to get into 3d-Coat. Please continue with your work! Allways happy to see a new video!

    Best regards!

    Decimated Mech Set 01

BadKing is giving away Part 01 of this FREE Decimated Mech Brush Set which was created and generously donated by Fuad Quaderi.

This Set includes an IMM Brush created in Zbrush 4R6 (compatible with R5) made up of 13 individual Mech models in addition to the original 13 x .OBJ files that were created in 3D Coat and used to create the Brush.

Hi, thanks for sharing. Unfortunately it seems, that the link is broken, or the site was deleted. I can't reach it.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks a lot!

  4. Hi all,

I have made a bunch of seamless textures that I'd like to share with 3DC users. This particular set contains a bunch of rock related textures. From large river stones, to pebbles and concrete. Each image contains for maps: Color, spec, normal and displacement. In many cases I cranked up the disp/spec/nmap images to have an exagerated bump or contrast and figured the end user could adjust to their liking. Also, you could easily use them as materials directly in 3DC, to paint with or use as masks.

I know it is 2.5 years ago, but are the textures still available? The Link seems to be broken.

    Thanks!

  5. For Unity, the upfront cost is $4,500.00 for the Pro Windows/IOS and Android publishing per year on sub and a bit less if you buy a perpetual license and upgrade yearly.

That is actually not totally right. The $4500 is to buy the pro version. It is permanent not per year. You just have to buy an upgrade for a new version 4 --> 5 --> 6, but everything betweeen major updates is free.

  6. Hi guys,

i have a question regarding buying 3D-Coat on Steam.

    1. If I buy the Steam 3D-Coat non Pro version (73€ ~ $83) and I want to upgrade to Pro (via Pilgway direct?) on which price do I get the 28% discount? Pilgway store (418€ incl. VAT which is 300€ after discount) or the steam price (290€ incl. VAT)?

    2. Is it possible, If I buy on steam, to use a non steam version with the license? Prefere to don't have Steam on my work station.

    Thanks a lot!
